A very girly sweater

This was the first little thing I made once Adam and I found out that Moonbeam is a girl. I know I going a little off the deep end here, but this was a quick and easy one to whip off. It is pretty small, so I am hoping that it fits her at all.

My first knit sweater

Here it is, my first knitting project that wasn't a scarf. We started up a little Friday Knitty Night at Lola's and it has been great. I have wanted to learn to knit for a really long time. The crochet thing just came along and was pretty easy to 'get' so I absorbed into that for the past year and a half. I will still continue to crochet, especially because it is so quick and easy but I do like the way a good stockinette stich looks. Beacause of this new development I have changed this blog name from nikkicrochet to nikkicraft...it kind of leaves me alot more open to experiement and try new things and I like that.
